Here’s a N900 coding contest started on the Maemo forums. A bunch of N900 enthusiasts who are tired of waiting for apps on the N900’s platform have started a contest for developers to submit their best apps. They are putting up a bounty for the prize money to give out to the winning applications in 6 main categories.

  • Desktop
  • System & Utilities
  • Games
  • Graphics & Multimedia
  • Location & Navigation
  • Other

If you are an N900 enthusiast, you too can help out in the competition by contributing to the prize bounty to encourage developers to bring out great apps for your phone.

Developers, get your creative juices flowing and create some great apps for us N900 users and submit them for the prize money.
