Hipstamatic, the awesome retro camera application for the iPhone, just released a new app. The Hipstamatic Disposable emulates a disposable camera with a social twist.
It’s a free app, and you get three “films” at first. You can buy more films in app, and you get to create a group of upto 24 people for each film. The “Social Twist” part is this: for each film group, the photos taken by everyone in the group will be displayed with that roll. It’s like Path with each film. Of course, you can always just use the film to shoot and share to all your networks. The usual options are available, facebook, twitter, etc. You could share the entire album, or just individual photos.
From the app description on the App Store:
One story from every angle — Hipstamatic’s new Disposable Camera.
The new Hipstamatic Disposable-series camera makes it a snap to create and share a camera with your friends. From the first snap to the last, everyone shoots to one album, and at the end photos are magically exchanged to all of the camera’s contributors. You’ll never have to swap doubles or email from your friend’s phone again. Sharing a roll of film has never been this much fun.
✩ Design amazing disposable cameras to share with your friends
✩ Instantly see everyones shots when the roll is complete
✩ Share the entire album or individual prints to Facebook, Twitter, and Email
✩ Get awesome new cameras from the in-app HipstaMart
So go ahead and download the app! It’s free, and you can get it from the App Store. It’s available for iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad running iOS 4.3 and above!
