HTC Tattoo – Android on a Budget

HTC has quite a few unique offerings in the Android mobile space, but not many in India, and very few mid-range devices. One such device is the HTC Tattoo. This mobile is based on Android, and is currently on 1.6. In addition, it runs HTC’s brilliant Sense UI.

It is classic metal bodied phone with total weight of 113 grams only and measures 106mm X 55.2mm X 14mm. This makes this phone really sleek and smart to hold. A 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display has been provided which is quite good, for a phone in this segment. This is one such mobile invented ever that can be customized from inside as well as from the outside. You can get a variety of skins for it. A rubber slot for SIM card and MicroSD card has been designed to make it more long lasting as well as stylish.

For connectivity, the phone has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, along with EDGE.

If people are looking for a perfect android device that can help them in building their social circle then HTC Tattoo is one of the best options. It enables individuals to carry out all kinds of social networking activities like sharing of photos, transferring files, updating personal accounts. Individuals can access their personal accounts any time and from any place as it is equipped with wireless internet facility. A 3.5mm audio jack complimented with FM radio makes it perfect for all music lovers. The RDS incorporated in FM makes it sound quality immensely high which makes music more fun and enjoyable.

It is a 3G mobile with 3.2 Megapixel camera. The built-in memory of 512 MB can be expanded in case the need arises.

It’s a reasonably priced smartphone. It should cost under Rs 15,000 pre-tax in India (considering that the wildfire is also priced similarly, I expect the price to be much lower than this)
