Kinetic Scroll for all interfaces in N97 in V12 firmware?

N97 - Landscape - Auto CompleteOne sore point with the N97 and other phones running on the Symbian S60 V5 platform is the lack of Kinetic scroll in the default interfaces. The Web browser and apps like Gravity have built  kinetic scrolling interfaces which are fast to flick though.  The other menus on the device use the nasty scroll bar which is tiny enough to struggle with to scroll through, for example, a large music collection or even a contact list. It looks like there’s a beta firmware update which brings kinetic scrolling for all the interfaces on the N97.

Lenny put this up on this twitter status a few days back – “Just got my black n97 and saw person in flagship store with full kinetic scrolling throughout said it was a beta software

Hope the v12 version of the N97’s firmware comes with kinetic scroll as a default for all interfaces. I’m already tired of navigating though my contact list with the current scroll bar interface!
