Nokia announced an entry level smart phone Nokia 5228. Nokia 5288 is similar to 5800 and 5230 in design. Nokia 5228 operates on the Symbian S60 5th Edition and some of the specs include a 3.2″ screen, 2 megapixel camera, 70MB of internal memory, microSD card slot, home screen Contacts Bar, Media Bar, quad-band GSM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and includes Nokia’s Ovi services. Nokia 5288 ships with a WH-102 stereo headset.

Nokia 5288 boasts of a battery backup of 33 hours of music playback, 7 hours of talk time, 4 hours video playback. Nokia 5288 though lacks 3G and GPS functionality. Nokia 5288 is available at a retail price of 139€.
