Nokia C5 Unveiled

Nokia unveiled the Nokia C5 handset today, as part of the new C series of handsets. The C5 is a S60 V3 phone with a 2.2″ QVGA screen, 3.2 MP Autofocus camera, HSDPA and A-GPS. It comes preloaded with the latest Ovi Maps, that includes free walk and drive navigation, and Nokia Messaging built it.

What sets the C5 apart, is that it’s a Social Networking centric device. You can view your friends Facebook status directly from the phonebook, and can update your Facebook status from the device, and share your location through Ovi Maps. It also features the new Nokia Messaging with IM, which supports both Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger!

The Nokia C5 should be available in the second quarter of 2010 globally in Europe, Eurasia, SEAP, China and MEA. Its estimated price is around $180, making it a very affordable yet packed smartphone.
