Nokia Shoot and Tag released on Nokia Betalabs

Here’s a new app one from Nokia Betalabs called Nokia Shoot and Tag, which automatically tags scenes while your shoot a video using your phone.

What’s tagging a scene you ask. It’s like the chapters in a DVD movie, so while you shoot, the app automatically creates a “chapter” in the video allowing you to find it later from your Media library and start playing the video from that scene, instead of having to watch the full video. You can also manually tag a scene using the interface of the application. A useful app to have when you’re shooting a longer video clip and want fast access to certain parts of the video. You can watch a demo of the app at the end of this article.

This app currently runs on Symbian^3 and Symbian Series 60 5th Edition phones. For more information about the app and to download, head over to the Nokia Betalabs page for Nokia Shoot and Tag.
