Nokia’s E73 mode to launch on T-Mobile in the US

The Nokia E73 mode is the latest from Nokia in their E Series phones. This phone is a 3G handset with WiFi, QWERTY keyboard and available exclusively on T-Mobile in the US. The selling USP for the T-Mobile E73 Mode is that the device is “The perfect balance of work and life”, with the mode switch on the home screen allowing the user to quickly switch between a Home and Work profile (which is also there on some of the other E-Series devices like the E72 and E75).

This phone comes bundled with these business software: Access to and Bloomberg, Ovi Files, QuickOffice, Adobe PDF Manager and Zip Manager. Ovi Maps is also preloaded with turn by turn navigation. For email Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync client, IBM Lotus Traveler and Nokia Messaging are present in this device. The E73 Mode also provides operator billing for Ovi Store apps, so you can buy apps on the store and get it billed on your T-Mobile account.

This device features a 5 megapixel camera with VGA mode video recording at 15fps, a 3.5″ headphone jack, A-GPS with compass, and a QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) display with 16 Million colors. Pretty much what the E72 features. The QWERTY keypad layout is slightly different from the E72 but features a colored Call and End button unlike the E72. You can get more details about the device at Nokia’s E73 Mode Device page. We’ve got images of the E73 Mode right after the video.

The device should be available in T-Mobile retail outlets around the 16th of June. If you’ve tried out this device, let us know your thoughts about it by commenting below.
