Samsung Announces 3 new Bada 2.0 Phones

Samung announced three new Bada devices today, the Wave 3, the Wave M and the Wave Y.

All three run Bada 2.0, the latest version of Bada. In case you didn’t know what Bada was, it’s Samsung’s own Smartphone OS, which wasn’t all that smart. Until now (check out the video at the end to learn more about Bada 2.0). First up, the Specs.

Wave 3

  • Processor – 1.4GHz
  • Display – 4″ WVGA Super Amoled
  • Camera – 5MP camera with Flash and Autofocus, VGA Front Facing Camera
  • Connectivity – Quad Band GSM (850/900/1800/1900), Dual Band HSPA (900/2100), Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, Glonass (that’s a Russian alternative to GPS), WiFi a/b/g/n
  • Memory – 3GB, expandable via MicroSD
  • Battery – 1500 mAh

Wave M

  • Processor – 832MHz
  • Display – 3.65″ HVGA (320×480) LCD Display
  • Camera – 5MP camera with Flash and Autofocus, VGA Front Facing Camera
  • Connectivity – Quad Band GSM (850/900/1800/1900), Dual Band HSPA (900/2100), Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, WiFi b/g/n, NFC, WiFi Direct
  • Memory – 150MB, expandable via MicroSD
  • Battery – 1350 mAh

Wave Y

  • Processor – 832MHz
  • Display – 3.2″ HVGA (320×480) LCD Display
  • Camera – 2MP Fixed Focus Camera with Flash
  • Connectivity – Quad Band GSM (850/900/1800/1900), Dual Band HSPA (900/2100), Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, WiFi b/g/n, NFC, WiFi Direct
  • Memory – 150MB, expandable via MicroSD
  • Battery – 1200 mAh
