The Internet of Things Consortium announced at CES 2013

The Internet of Things Consortium is a non-profit organization with the mission of facilitating cooperation between hardware, software, and service providers. The IoT Consortium is primarily focused on those Internet enabled devices and related software services that directly touch consumers in the form of home automation, entertainment, and productivity…” says the newly formed website of the Internet of Things Consortium.

Active Mind Technologies, BASIS Science, Coin, Kease, Logitech, MOVL, Ouya, Poly-Control, SmartThings and Ube are members of the newly formed consortium and has just been announced at CES. Apart from Logitech and Kickstarter favorite Ouya, most of the members are lesser known startups.
