Timeriffic – Automated Profiles for Android

Timeriffic is the perfect free app to automate your phone’s profiles. Now you don’t have to remember to turn off the phone’s ringer every night before going to bed, and turn it back on in the morning. You can automate these task and more using Timeriffic.

When you start up the application you get to your device profile listing, which shows you the profiles which are set and the times at which the they are set. You can see in the image on the left that I have two profiles defined, one for week day and the other for weekends.

What I did was to turn off the phone ringer and vibrate mode  at 11pm every weekday and turn both back on at 8am. Once programmed, the application does this task automatically. When you go to choose the timing of the actions, you can also choose on which days of the week this action should take place. So for weekends I have the ringer come up at a later time so that calls don’t wake me till quite late in the morning.

As you can see in the image above, you are not limited to just the ringer and the volumes, you can control the notification, media and alarm volumes, set WiFi status and change the phone’s brightness as well. If you want to be unreachable at times, you can also enable the Airplane mode, which disables Cellular, Data and WiFi connectivity on the phone.

You can delete all the profiles which ship with the app and create your own. To delete an profile, long press on the title bar of the profile to bring up the delete menu.

You can create as many profiles as you wish and add timed actions to them. You can also choose to have these profiles enabled of disabled at any time.

Try out this application if you are truly trying to make your phone smart and do these things automatically for you. To get this app, head over to the Android Market and search for “Timeriffic” or scan the QR code below. This app runs on phones with Android 1.6 and above.
