Viewsonic launches two new tablets in India

Viewsonic has officially launched two new tablets in India, the Viewpad 7 and the Viewpad 10.

The Viewpad 7 is a 7″, Android tablet, with phone functionality similar to the Galaxy Tab, which runs Android 2.2 aka FroYo.

Here are the specs for the Viewpad 7:

  • Processor: Qualcomm MSM7227, 600 MHz
  • Memory: 512 MB internal, 512 MB storage, expandable to 32 GB
  • Display: 7″ Capacitive Multitouch Display, WVGA (800×480) Resolution
  • Connectivity: WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, AGPS
  • Multimedia: 3MP rear camera, VGA Front Facing Camera
  • Battery: Li-Polymer, 3240mAH

It should cost around INR 32,000.

The next one up is the Viewpad 10, a dual-boot tablet that runs Windows 7 and Android 1.6.

The Viewpad 10 runs an Intel Atom 1.66Ghz processor,1GB internal memory & a 16GB SSD and a MicroSD card slot.

It has a 1024×600 10″ Display and a 1.3MP front facing camera. This is a WiFi only device though, and is going to be priced at around INR 38,000.
