YouTube Client for S60 updated – Supports Nokia 5800 XM

youtube-logoThe YouTube has updated their client for S60 devices  v2.02.6 to v2.02.9. The new client still lacks a lot of features, but brings in support for the Nokia 5800 XM. The new client still doesn’t allow you to log into your account and comment or favorite a video clip.The application also seems akward on the 5800, with the buttons sticking out from the right side of the application (see screenshot below).

To get the latest version, just access http://m.youtube.com from your mobile browser. N97 users still have to wait a while longer since I still don’t see the application when I access the site.

Some Nokia 5800 users were unable download the app from m.youtube.com, they were able get it from  m.google.com and selecting the YouTube link from there.
